We’ve just announced the first release candidate to Prototype version 1.5.1, which means that 1.5.1 final is just around the corner.
Not only does it fix a couple of bugs in 1.5.0 it also brings a flurry of new exciting features amongst which are:
- an vastly improved
$$function, - a JSON encoder and parser,
- a revamped
Element.addMethodswhich lets you target specific elements.
On a side note, I haven’t abandoned the Built-with-Prototype showcase at all, just have been very busy lately. You should hear about it pretty soon, so stay tuned.
